we have a bold vision for wunders.

What started in 2018 as just an idea, quickly took shape through our collaborative network. In 2018, fabric and design research and conversations with partners, to understand current challenges and cultural context, began. This work culminated into a small pilot project with partners at Thrive in Kenya in late 2020.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Thrive is a group of young women raising awareness of gender-based violence and human trafficking. The group holds training sessions and helps survivors get connected to resources. The Thrive group is a strategic starting point as they interact with all partnering organizations in meaningful ways.
