we have a bold vision for wunders.

What started in 2018 as just an idea, quickly took shape through our collaborative network.

In 2018, fabric and design research and conversations with partners, to understand current challenges and cultural context, began. This work culminated into a small pilot project led by SEED Livelihood Network and partners in Kenya in late 2020. In June 2021, Wunders Kenya launched! Since then we have worked with our partnership network to equip thousands of girls and women with menstrual health kits and culturally-informed training in 6 different countries. Wunders work began in Togo in 2023.

We have plans to extend our reach in the coming years with an expanded sewing center and distribution centers. We invite you to join us!

  1. By working with our ministry partners to expand our distribution network, Wunders reaches more girls and women each month with reusable menstrual supplies and vital health and human trafficking awareness training.

  2. Wunders sewing and distribution centers provide a sustainable livelihood opportunity. We have a bold plan to expand this essential part of our mission. We are prayerfully planning for growth: distribution centers in new locations, increased capacity, and an expanded sewing training program.

  3. The Wunders curriculum was written by local trainers to be culturally relevant to the girls and women we serve. In the coming years, Wunders is expanding our curriculum and translating it into more languages to increase our impact.

invest in girls' futures

We believe all girls and women deserve dignity during their periods and should have access to the menstrual health products they need to thrive.

Will you join us?

At Wunders, we are working to create a ripple effect of impact in communities and disrupt vulnerability to human trafficking by equipping girls and women with menstrual health supplies and education.
